WHALE WATCHING HELICOPTER FLIGHT

Through the months of June & July / September to November, Humpback and Southern Right whales follow a migratory path along the eastern seaboard of Australia. The coastal waters adjacent to Sydney Harbour are on this path.

As these great mammals are constantly on the move, your pilot will gather information from various sources including charter boats, media and the National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) to gain sighting info.

Once airborne, we track via the Eastern shoreline of Botany Bay towards one of Australia's best known whale watching locations... Cape Banks. From here we head North along the Eastern suburb beaches towards Palm Beach & Broken Bay... With luck you will spot natures gentle giants, an amazing experience you will hold in your memory for ever...

(Note: Flight can also be taken as a 45-minute option if you wish).

1.	We have noticed a few companies advertising on the net that are operating in association with other companies AOC's (Air Operating Certificate). Make sure you only fly with a company that has it's own AOC. Issued by CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority), this permission allows aviation companies to conduct commercial activities under the Civil Aviation Act. We are proud to operate our own aircraft under our own AOC which was issued by CASA in 1997.
2.	We don't always claim to offer the cheapest scenic flights/tours but we are one of the the best at it (quality & cheap are not usually in the same sentence, especially in aviation!)... Our reputation in this industry speaks volumes.
3.	Our aircraft of choice is the Bell 206 Jetranger helicopter, we operate this type of helicopter for one reason only... Safety! The Jet powered B3 Jetranger has set more industry records than any other aircraft in the world & has the best safety record of any helicopter in the industry. Couple that with our pilots who have thousands of hours of experience & you're good to go!

Ten reasons to fly with us

	Whale watching flights are conducted as per NPWS guidelines. While we use our best efforts please note that the sighting of whales is not guaranteed.
	Private Charter or Share with Others?
	Share with Others means just that... sharing the helicopter with other passengers. i.e. You are purchasing 1, 2 or 3 seats on the helicopter and the empty seat or seats *could be* (but not always) occupied by other passengers. When booking for 3 passengers on any "Share with Others" scenic flight of 30-minutes or more we'll give you a 10% discount!
	Private Charter means that you are securing all 4 seats on the helicopter... You will not be sharing with other people that you do not know (it's up to you how many seats you want to use to a maximum of 4). Even If you are a single passenger or a group of 2 or 3, you can still Private Charter the helicopter & cancel out the possibility of the remaining seat/s being sold! When booking the 60-minute Whale Watching Private Charter flight we'll give you a 25% discount off the original seat price x 4 plus a FREE one way transfer from the City in a Mercedes S Class/BMW 7 series chauffeured car, or if you make your own way to the Heliport, a FREE DVD of your flight! Note: If your booking equals 4 passengers you will automatically qualify for "Private Charter" at the maximum discounted rate as you'll have reached the maximum seating capacity for our Jetranger helicopter.
	Flights depart at a time of your choice (subject to availability). Minimum passenger numbers may apply to some “Share with Others” flights.
	Flight prices are based on standard passenger weights. Passengers in excess of 100kg (220lb) may effect quoted prices.
	Actual sights, routes, departure time & flight duration may vary due to weather, operational considerations, air traffic control or pilot discretion. Cancellation (by passengers) within 48 hours of flight time will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellation (by passengers) within 24 hours of flight time (or a no-show) will incur a 100% cancellation fee. No fees are payable if Blue Sky Helicopters cancels flight due to weather or other operational contingency.
	All prices are in Australian dollars, are inclusive of GST (Goods & Services tax) and are current until 31st December 2010. All flights are conducted in a Jet turbine helicopter. Please also read our full Terms & Conditions.
