How to get to Blue Sky Helicopters
From the city, drive (south) down Southern Cross Drive (main road to the Airport). Taking the Domestic turn-off exit, pass two sets of traffic lights and turn right onto General Holmes Drive (approximately 8km from city). You will then see a sign that says Helicopters & Blu Emu Car Park. Follow this sign.
Turn left into Ross Smith Avenue and continue south along the airport perimeter road for approximately 1km. Approaching the Heliport, we are the last building on the right (just before Hammond Place).
If arriving by Uber/Taxi, the fare will be (around) A$40.00 one way and will take around 20-minutes from the City (outside peak periods). For those making their own way to the Heliport, we have FREE parking right outside our door!
For Private Charter bookings greater than 60 minutes, a (standard) return City transfer is included FREE of charge from the CBD (Blue Sky passenger van or other third party provider). Chauffeured car option also available for just $75 each way / total cost for up to 4 passengers.?(Ford G6E Falcon/Holden Caprice) or a Mercedes S Class or a BMW 7 series chauffeured car for an additional $95 each way?/ total cost for up to 4 passengers.
Take the (Airport & East Hills) train to the Domestic Terminal, after exiting the station, hop on the Blue Emu Car Park Courtesy bus (5-minute drive) which will drop you at the Long Term Car Park only. From here, walk for 5 minutes (north) back up Ross Smith Ave. Our building is the first building on your left just past Hammond Place.
Note: The cost of the train is around $18 per person each way (Includes a station access fee of $14.30 per person). Therefore for groups of two or more a Uber/Taxi could be a better choice. Another option is to get the train to Mascot Station (from Central it’s around $4 per person each way) and hop in an Uber from there (around $14 each way).
